The Village contracts with its municipal neighbor to the East the City of Solon for fire and emergency service. The City of Solon provides services to our community along with its 24,000 residents. The City of Solon has provided the village with such service for many years. Solon has three Fire Stations. Most calls from Glenwillow are responded to from Station #3 located nearby at 7401 S.O.M. Center Road. The City of Solon has rescue squads and fire equipment at each station. There is also a hazardous materials unit at Station #1. Through our service contract, the Solon Fire Department also conducts the Village's fire inspections for both residents and businesses.
